Megabot Squad – Internal Game Jam (Unity, C#)

Megabot Squad is a local co-op game developed for internal game jam within my org when I’m at Unity, where in 3 weeks we need to come up with a fun game. After 4 different prototype we settled with Megabot Squad, a 4 players couch co op robot controlling game. Think Lovers In Dangerous Spacetime + Overcooked

Contributed to

  • Prototyping and implementation of various weapon systems
    • Grenade launcher
    • Homing missile
    • Shield / ultimate system
  • Generic damage visual system, that we used on robot’s body part as well as the enemies
    • Also authored VFX for this
  • Developing solution for building visibility behind robot
    • New render feature
    • Stencil shader
    • Raycast behind robot
  • Some destruction using RayFire
  • Various shiny shaders!
